South Africans will pay more for water in coming months as Minister of Water and Sanitation Nomvula Mokonyane announced that water tariff increases are inevitable.
Speaking to the Sunday times in an interview Mokonyane said the extra money will be used for storage facilities, upgrading infrastructure and fixing leaky pipes, the newspaper said.
According to the report she declined to say by how much prices are likely to increase.
